Rainathon is walk in rain and its not a trek. We do not take the participants trekking during Rainathon as its risky to climb any rock during monsoon. Rainathon is not trekking.
Any participant should register to participate in our events and there is no such concept of half ticket in our events. The reason behind is we treat everyone equally so even the charges would be the same to participate. Only one participant can participate for one registration.
No, participants must register themselves and make complete payment to participate in our events.
Certainly yes, but information about the proxy participant must be sent to one of the organisers at least 6 days in advance to the day of the event. The participant will be getting a t-shirt of the actual participant’s size and there won’t be any replacements.
You can carry snacks but we would advise you not to carry any sort of food items as we take complete care of providing time to time meals and snacks. But if you do wish to carry something, we don’t mind.
We advise you to wear easy footwear such as Hawai or any other comfortable slippers. It will usually be a leech prone route where you will have a tough time with shoes.
Yes, the food served at our events is pure vegetarian.
As far as health is concerned you need not worry about it as we have had people with different chronic ailments taking part in our events and nothing really happened to anyone.
The answer is no. You should arrange your own transport to reach the location and get back home later.
If you participate in Rainathon you’ll be getting a participation certificate. You will also get a certificate-workshop at Moonathon. So yes, you will get a certificate if you participate in Rainathon/Moonathon.
1. Participants are strictly prohibited from using any form of rain protectors during the Rainathon event.
2. Participants must refrain from using foul language during the event.
3. Participants are advised to avoid engaging in discussions about political matters during our events.
4. Participants must not disrespect or tease any individual.
5. Malpractices such as vaping, smoking, or consuming alcohol are strictly forbidden at our events.
6. Participants must be at least 8 years of age to participate in Rainathon.
7. Participants must be at least 6 years of age to participate in Moonathon.
8. Participants are required to adhere to all rules set by the organizing team and maintain the decorum of the event.
9. Once registration is completed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
10. Participants should not challenge the organizers as some rules are in place for the benefit of all attendees but may not be disclosed.
11. Participants are expected to diligently complete assigned tasks with their respective team members.
12. During registration, participants will be asked to choose a specific team to join. Those who select a team will be assigned to that team, while those who choose "Any of the above" will be assigned to different teams by the organizers. Regardless of the team assignment, participants are required to complete their tasks without fail. The team list will be provided one to two weeks in advance.
13. Participants are required to bring their own cutlery, including a glass, plate, and spoon, to Moonathon and Rainathon events. This initiative has been implemented to reduce wastage.
14. Rainathon T-shirts will be provided, but participants must bring their own bottoms, such as pants or shorts.
15. Punctuality is greatly appreciated, and participants are expected to adhere to the scheduled timings for all our events.
